Theater set design uses various methods to create an alternate reality, a world where anything is possible. The stage is a magic box; it creates a world where actors feel comfortable using the stage. It creates visual angles which involve the audience in the show, no matter where in the theater they are sitting. Telling the story visually and making connections with the audience is the key to set design.

This set design tells the story of conflict and love. The contrast between blooming peach flowers against a cold, foggy background creates a strong and unique phenomenon, which fits well with the story. Differing layers of suspended, translucent backgrounds create a screen through which the audience views the scenes.
